Hey everyone! So in about two weeks, it's my best friend in the whole world's birthday and she is turning 16! I'm doing a lot of special things for her that day and my family already got her a gift, but I want to get her something just from me. All of my friends know by now that I'm the go-to makeup person, so my friend wanted me to pick her out some awesome products. What do you guys think? My budget is about $70, but I may be willing to go over if it is a good idea. If it helps, she has dirty blonde hair, fair skin, and bright blue eyes. Thank you all a ton in advance!

Maybe something she doesn't have much of! If she's your neutral girl, buy her some colors! And vise versa. She may not wear them all the time, but it would be something she doesn't have! 😚

Thank you! I definitely think a set would be a good idea as you get a lot for the price. And I like that idea Auden! She only really has the basics from the drugstore so luckily I have pretty free reign!

I always like to suggest gift cards to beauty stores. She can pick out something she always wanted.

For my friends 20th birthday last year she decided she wanted to start wearing makeup. I went to Sephora and got her a lipstick, gloss, foundation, concealer, mascara, a ud travel liner set, a mini eyeshadow palette. see if you can get samples of popular product and throw that in there, too! the sets jacqlyn mentioned are a great idea, a intro product(: maybe a rollerball of a popular fragrance, too, that would be an indulgent extra. good luck and what a generous gift!!

I know this isn't a beauty thing but I've just done this for my friends sweet sixteen and made like a 'survival kit' with like a whole heaps of cute little things with a saying on them. If you google sweet sixteen survival kits you will see some great ideas :)

I agree; a set is the perfect gift. I'd get one with a variety of products so she could do her whole face and try out a few new things.

Look up BH Cosmetics :) I have a TON of their products and they're amazing!! And super cheap :) I bought 5 pallets and several other things for $50! Just buy her some of those and make her a cute gift basket or something 💙 their shipping is very quick too, so you'll have time to get everything ready :)
