Do you have to do a photography and fashion makeup course to do that field of work?

What field of work?

Not necessarily, it just depends what you'd like to do with that field.

I don't think you have to, but it would probably help ;D
if that's the field you want to go into, why not educate yourself more about it?
^ just my opinion :3

Well if you want to do photography on its own or to photograph your own work a couple classes could be helpful. But fashion makeup is pretty lax. It's really about your own creativity and most usual makeup "rules" don't apply. Some fashion makeups are downright bizarre and outlandish lol. I don't think it ever hurts to learn more and get formal education on anything but I wouldn't say it's absolutely necessary. It may be good as a place to start but you could probably teach yourself just as well. Information is so easy to come by these days so it's really all up to you :) The only other thing I'd look into is just being hygienic. That's the number one thing every makeup artist should strive to be. It's definitely frowned upon to give clients infections because of dirty brushes or double dipping or not sanitizing a product. Otherwise it's your call, if you feel you know your stuff well enough then I'd just go for it and see what happens :)
