^ I'm sure it is..
@Daesha, do you mean just getting into makeup in general or getting into professionals makeup artistry? I guess, my best advice to anyone starting out would be to always practice new looks, be creative, have fun, & wear what you want!

First thing's first, do not think you have to pay a lot of money for make up. If you have at least 30$ you can buy a lot with it. I would recommend having a beginners palette that has a good variety of colors, eyeliner (any color you prefer but definitely black is needed) a lash curler, a make up bag and brushes. I own very cheap brushes because I am also a beginner. I'd recommend elf and real techniques (although I don't have real techniques) and forever 21 brushes are nice also. You also need a pink , fuchsia , and nude lipstick, the rest is up to you because. Foundation and concealar aren't necessary yet. Oh and the last thing is have fun and be you, if its a look you want to wear just wear it!

Agree with kyra & queen. nyx, elf & wet n wild are good cheap brands. wet n wild has good eyeliner, eyeshadow, & lipstick. most of my lipstick is from them. Revlon, rimmel, milani & maybelline also have good lipsticks. I really like eco tool brushes. they have a face brush set & an eye brush set for like $8-$10. maybelline & loreal have good mascara.

Versatile products will allow you to experiment with your looks without having to get a million products! Like a lipstick that can double as a cream blush (or the other way around!) or a bronzer that can also be a nice natural eyeshadow. And any color that you use as a face hi light can be used on the eyes too! Also, one tool that I didn't consider for a long time is an eyelash curler, I know they're weird and scary but they make a huge difference! I can't not use one now that I know the difference :)
