I was just prescribed Retin-A last week, how did any of you like it? And did you see results??

My dermatologist is having me try it out for 3 months to see how I like it. I'm not sure what it's supposed to do though. It doesn't burn when I apply it.

I suggest introducing your skin to it very slowly. Rather than every night, I'd begin with every 3rd evening...then move to every other...etc. and use in very, very small doses. A little goes a long way. I'd also invest in CeraVe AM which has a SPF of 30 (much needed during Retain A use) and CeraVe PM. You need to moisturize diligently and both are very gentle. Limit sun exposure, and use a hydrating cleanser such as CeraVe as well. You may also want to invest in a hydrating primer. While on Retain A, I personally would ease up on powdering and gently exfoliate once a week. This helps keep skin from getting patchy. Best of luck to you!

Note: I personally would not use AHA's while on Retin-A. It can seriously irritate the delicate flesh.
