But to answer your question, yes baking soda can. I was told not to do it too often though.

Yes it can but it'll take a few washes and you'll need a good deep conditioner as it can make the hair a little dry

Maybe try a diluted apple cider viniger. It takes all the inpurities from your hair out including dye and it's the same ph as your hair so it shouldn't dry your hair out.

@Erica I love using apple cider vinegar in my hair! It makes it feel so thick and it's always super shiny after too!
