If it's properly wrapped, nope. I do it all the time. But I sleep in a satin scarf or bonnet when I do. My hair is also just damp, not just out of the shower wet.

It does make your hair more prone to breaking, so it's not good to do it every night but every once and a while won't hurt, and if you wake up in the morning and it's all crazy you'll want to heat style it which isn't good. I'd braid it to minimize damages, and sleep on a satin pillowcase. :)

Well I think my hair is always more soft silky and manageable when I dry befo but washing your hair every day actually makes your hair more greasy!! It make your head produce more and more oils throughout the day 😁

There is a risk that your hair could break more when it's wet. Loosely braiding it can help with that, and a satin pillowcase. Then again, everyone's hair is different! Lots of girls here I can see have no problem at all with it

No I do it all the time. But sometimes I'll put it up in a bun or a braid

When I sleep with wet hair, in the morning I have so many kinks, it goes frizzy and when you brush it it breaks a lot! I wouldn't advise it just dry it as much as possible :)

I have curly hair and sleep on in wet but I have to put in some curl holding gel so it doesn't go flat.

My curls actually look better when I've gone to bed with wet hair, my hair takes forever to dry so even if I wanted to sleep with dry hair I couldn't, it's always damp to an extent and I've never had a problem with it.

It makes it more prone to breakage, you could always braid it or put it in a bun before you go to bed so that you wake up with nice curls though.

Samantha, you did not "get" Bell's palsy from sleeping with wet hair. I'm sorry that happened to you, hon, but that's just misinformation.

Yes, it can cause you headaches and to many from wet hair can lead to a tumor, sounds stupid and scary but I had a great aunt who passed away at 24 from always going out with wet hair, plus when you sleep your laying your head weight into the wet hair causing you to eventually get head colds
