Curling iron dilemma

A long while ago I bought a clipless curling wand. I only used it once or twice. I loved the results and my hair but it took me long to curl all my hair. I honestly don't know why I bought a clipless wand. would a clip one be faster or easier? the whole process of grabbing pieces of hair and curling them around the wand was tiring.

would a clip curling iron be better? or is it not worth it as it would be the same? thanks 😘

Is it a professional curling wand? If you buy a professional one, it works more quickly. I feel like if you bought one with a clip, it really does fry your ends of your hair.

I would say with the clip it's easier like I always put it up and start from the bottom back and work my up then I get these results not so bad right #I was a lot younger when I took the pic!

Uhm I bought a Remington one.. it's not that it takes long to curl the hair but having to grab sections of hair and curling them around the wand ugh it took long

Well with a clip the results are completely different. And you still have to grab a piece, clap it, then twirl your wand all the way up.

Really I would just stick with what you have. I think that you are going to have as much hassle with an iron with a clip than one without. And they are both going to give you different results. It you bought one with a clip, your hair is not going to look the same.

If you stick your hair up into a high tighy pony tail then just cutl sections of thr pony tail till its all curled it goes much faster! I have thick hair and it typically takes me 1.5 hours but with this method only 20 mins.

@Alexandria does it turn out the same as it would when it's not in a ponytail?

Like Alexandria said, you should section off your hair it will be faster and come out much nicer in my opinion.
Buying a typical curling iron with a clamp is not necessary, I feel they take up more time at least for me. But people have different
preferences. I think it also depends what kind of curls you want. There is a difference between the curling iron and the wand: as you can see up there in the pics Chloe and novalee
Curling iron makes loose curls and wand is much tighter curls.

Someone suggested I start half way up the hair shaft and don't clamp down too hard. afterwards slide the hair out-I haven't tried on my own thick hair but hers liked really good!

The ends of your hair are always the most fragile part of your hair strands. always remember to use some type of a heat protect hair product. it creates a protective barrier around your hair shaft and keeps you from frying the cuticle layer of your hair. when curling hair no matter what you use never ever start at the ends of your hair. start mid shaft wrap the hair like normal with the ends sticking out. then work the ends in,hold no more than 3 seconds. mid shaft, curl, work in the ends, count 1 and 2 and 3 let go.

The curls come out the same! In my opinion much more voluptuous! I love this method it is just so quick and easy. I use my wand with this method. If you ladies have any questions let me know! I could put a tutorial on my blog If its helpful!
