Soooo I've been to a couple of pharmacies and I can't find a good shade of red for my hair. Is there any you recommend and some places you think I could find it? I don't have the money for a salon. I'm still scared on how it will turn out. You can make a dark brown into red decently right? I've watched some YouTube tutorials but I'm not sure I wanted some real tips and precautions from you guys with experience first 😋 thanks.

Well if it's really dark you'll have to lighten it. But the good news is going to red is the safest look after lightening dark hair. Lol try walmart or walgreens or a super target.

Unless you want the picture at bottom right, then just get a really vivid red dye.

Loreal hi colour in either red or magenta will do the trick, just buy a small 20 developer and I'm 90% sure it totals to cheaper than a boxed dye! I personally think it works pretty well on dark hair, especially if it's virgin :)

Go to Sally's and look at loreal hi color!! I didn't have to prelighten my dark brown hair and it tired out really well!! It's pretty cheap plus they have a few different shades of red. It's my fav red hair dye!!

You could always just buy two colours then mix them till you get the shade you would like?
