Think of it as growing out bangs...unless there's some chemical thinning I'm not aware of. sorry about double post, I accidently tapped it early.

You definitely can, my hair used to be thin, gross and fried. I got it cut and now my hair just grows out thick. Maybe get a trim? :)

And I've also started using maroccan oil every night in my hair, it's actually made a big difference in my hair over the last 5 months!

I have thyroid issues which thin hair. Since increasing my iron and Vitamin D and investing in Joico shampoo and conditioner (I alternate with Pravana) my hair has made serious progress in its health. So much that my stylist noticed. I do believe it is possible to regain healthy, fuller hair over time.

I hope you don't have a thyroid issue, but it is maddening to not know what is going on. Have they tested you for low D or anemia recently? It may be hormonal as well. I picked up a wet brush at Sally's and that is the best thing ever. The Joico I got at Marshalls. TJMaxx probably has it as well. I keep my iron up through adding spinach to salads and sandwiches.. my pasta sauces, etc., dried fruit and eggs. Cod liver oil, fortified dairy and cereals, eggs and mushrooms are all packed with Vitamin D. Even so, mine runs very low and so I take a supplement from my doc. I use less heat on my hair now and that has made a huge difference. The less you fuss on it, the better it should be. Good luck, hun.

Oils weigh down fine and thin hair...as do deep conditioners, so I would use sparingly. Hair powder like Got2B adds volume and a great dry shampoo means less fussing over wet hair, when it is most frail.

I'm not sure about your hair but when I get my hair thinned it grows back after a while
I literally just got my hair cut last night and it was so thick at the hairdressers. it took like an hour to dry

And I had gotten my hair cut just a year ago

So hopefully yours grows back :)
