So I'm FINALLY purchasing my hair dye today but I still have a few questions before I go. The dye I've been looking into is loreal hicolor but there's loreal hicolor or loreal hicolor "hilights" but I don't know what the difference is in how it turns out. The YouTube tutorials I've seen it looks like they are all just red no matter what one you used. But the loreal hicolor has 11 different shades including the one I'm going for but people have been saying its too dark so should I mix it with a brighter color? Do you think the worker at Sally's beauty supply would help me with this or are they just going to give it to me and leave lol. Cause I still don't know how much I need for my length of hair either.

Ask them! My mom has done my hair forever. She's always done hers too and we use Sally's. Tell them what you want and they will help! Tell them a budget, how much you will need, and what to use. Generally they have always been helpful.
