I got this in a sampler bag yesterday and I have no idea what it is it says tarte instant matte waterproof body perfector in maracuja rainforest glow.

I am aware that it will never be my shade lol I am just wondering what it is and what it does.

It's basically like make up for your body lol. Like a bronzer. It's not meant to match your shade you can use it on your body as an instant tanner. I like using it alone after I exfoliate then moisturize over it. but if you want to lighten it up just mix it with your body lotion and apply it that way.
