So I never were maxi skirts cuz I'm 5'1 and I feel like they make me shorter looking. but latly every time I see one I want it! they just really have my eye latly. so does anyone know any tricks or patterns that would make me appear not short? and where are some places that sell them? I only ever see them online!

When choosing a maxi dress, solid colors are your best bet, as this will give you a long, continuous line from top to bottom.? Coming in in second place is a small, consistent pattern? the general rule of thumb is that the size of the print should be no larger than your fist.

Wet seal, jcpenney, probably charlotte russe & forever 21. patters that go up & down make you look taller. I'm 5'1" too lol.

Ha I live and 40 minute drive fromthe mall and all them stores. so I don't go too often but when I do I like to know where things are that I needvso I dobt waiste time. but yes there's kohls (not sure about papaya) but thanks ::)

Thanks guys! @duffs g. if I do a solid color will a partterend shirt be okay? and if I do small pattern would something like small tribal print be okay? and thenks everyone for the places I can get them :)

The most important thing about top would be that its fitted :-) I feel any tribal pattern would not have effect you want, as most of those are horizontal patterns.
