Well to me , both are 50/50. And you look Lovely Ellis. Also what made you turn to Muslim? My aunt is one and I NEVER got the chance to answer because she always in africa , india , and in the states somewhere.

Okay first I must say, you look beautiful. I have always found Hijabs to be breaktaking. Secondly, most Muslim women are NOT forced to wear them :) I have many Muslim friends, and they tell me the Quran says it's a form of protection. To cover yourself to prevent men from staring. Now, in Saudi Arabia and in extremist countries like that, they ARE forced to wear them. Wearing a Hijab isn't a form of oppression, it's a religious practice. My mom converted to Islam not too long ago, so I know quite a bit about it, and I'm partly a Muslim myself. Anyway, back to the topic, since you are wearing it for religious purposes, then it's good :) I want to say Allah bless you but I'm not fully Muslim sooo... Anyway, you are stunning. I'd love to start wearing one but I don't know if I should.

I agree with @Nala! Feathers in hair is still a big thing. Some girls here in Cali have feather extensions in their hair, and they aren't Indian. My friend is Caucasian and she likes to borrow some of my shoes I got from Mexico. Does that count? It doesn't affend me. I actually feel proud of my cultural and that others like it too.

I've always been curious about peoples reason for converting to different religions especially muslim. Their culture is beautiful and sacred and as an outsider perspective extremely strict. If you don't mind elaborating why are you converting? Its an intriguing topic for me.

I'm muslim and a lot of people think it's strict but in all honesty it's just about being humble and expressing your love to god everyday and thanking him for everything in your life. Although I don't wear the hijab I do express my faith and love god dearly and thank him daily for all the wonderful things he's brought into my life :)
