So I used to always shave my armpits and they would stay the same colour as the rest of my skin.

but for the past year, when I shave, the hair comes off and even if my armpits are smooth- it has a darkness which makes it look like I have stuble (even though I don't)

its reallllyyy embarassing. tried switching blades, used different gels etc.etc. but nothing.
Help? anyone else has the same thing?

Definitely exfoliate it will really help, it helps mine so much! Try waxing as well, the constant shaving can cause darkness to the skin and so waxing you'd do less often.

You need to start waxing..the hair gets thicker due to shaving so therefore you'll see darkness on your armpits because you aren't pull in the hair from the root you're shaving it so it's literally staying under your skin causing it to look dark

THROW THOSE RAZORS AND START WAXING!I used to shave and just waxed for the first time a few days ago.Shaving only makes your hair shorter whereas waxing pulls the hair from its root. This not only delays hair growth but takes off the tan and all the darkness. Also, instead of Deodorants use natural odour repellers like lemons. If you start waxing soon, the darkness will slowly disappear :)

Exfoliating helps so much!! I discovered it yesterday and OH MY THEY ARE SO SMOOTH AND BEAUTIFUL. They normally grow back in like one day but mine are still like a babys bottom! Also moisturise before you put deodorant on, you'll have beautiful armpits:)
