I was thinking of organizing a makeup party where I can introduce people to my services but also they attend and learn something.
How can I start and do I charge for this to the ones who will attend?
I have tried organizing one in the past but for some reason it did not work as planned.

I had a really successful one over the summer I did it as a team building session for a financial firm. I taught some basics using the guests to teach a Smokey eye showed some of my favorite products talked about how to clean and care for your brushes etc. everyone got a goody bag with samples and my card. I worked out a flat fee with their HR department /event coordinator and had some items on display I also had a q&a session it was really fun and I also raffled off a couple of my favorite products
