Hey everyone, I just recently started my YouTube channel, so far I only have two videos but I would like some advice on how to film makeup tutorials, I am not quite sure how to position the camera and also where can I get music to play in the background.

I would really appreciate any help.. Thanks!! xoxo

just position your camera slightly higher than your face. fin the best lighting for you, a combo of warm lights and white light is great, but if you're using a natural light make sure you position it properly. i edit mine using windows movie maker. you tube has lots of instrumentals that can compliment your tutorial. please feel free to check my videos and subscribe to my channel mistyprincess100.  cheers:)

I use a video camera and windows movie maker.

I think I kind of figured out how to position the camera, but I don't know where I can get music to use in the background, someone had told me the music had to be royalty free.

Thank you both for taking the time to answer :-)

My two favorite sites for royalty free music

I hope these help.
Please feel free to check out my channel for inspiration. Though, I ask, that you do give credit where credit is due if you ever use my work.
If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I would love to help out as best as I could. :)

I usually talk the camera and let the audience know what I am about to do. Then I apply the makeuo and fast forward the no talking parts.
