I'm 37 and have 4 kids at home. The youngest is nearly 2 (and has Down Syndrome) and the oldest is almost 14. I'm a work at home mom, so needless to say, I stay busy! I loved my blue highlights https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRLrLMVQqRzcaYRZjD7qoGpApWJ6JDitQX5Yd7_fRiKPU-W7JpCxg

But that was before special needs and therapy 3 times a week...

Here's my most recent pic. My hair is shoulder length and layered with long layers. I just dyed it Dark Brown to cover up the remaining bleached parts.

What should I do? I don't want to go shorter, and I am kinda toying with the idea of a pin-up / rockabilly style. (which is NOT easy, but what could I do when I'm not going out)

also - I wear glasses, so long bangs can be a problem, but I do like the look :)

I think bangs would look great!

You could try Bettie bangs and quick victory rolls. I think that Bettie bangs with shorter hair (like yours) looks more modern but is still has a rockabilly twist to it. And victory rolls are so easy to do, that even on your hectic mornings you can do them. Before you commit to the short bangs, just make sure you really want them, because they're so frustrating to grow out. From the picture, I actually think your hair looks really nice as it is, but those are my suggestions if you want a change :)

Thanks ladies! I actually just looked up the victory rolls bang tutorials on Youtube last week! Do you think that I'm too old for it? I don't *feel* old, but I also don't want to be one of those women that is 65 in a mini skirt either!  LOL

Haha no you aren't too old! I think the key with any style is to not go overboard. When I do victory rolls, I keep them on the smaller side so that I don't look like I'm wearing a costume. And hey-- if you feel like wearing a mini skirt at 65, you go for it!
