Thinking of purchasing the beauty blender... is it worth it? I have a gift certificate for 25 to sephora. what would y'all recommend? :) thanks for the help in advance.

To me, no. I already have a kick butt foundation brush (Tarte airbrush foundation brush). If you don't have a good one go for it, but if you do, skip it.

They just released a bunch of stuff for the color of the year (Radiant Orchid) that looks good.

I bought it and I don't use it very often. I like much more to use my Sigma brushes ,and I used much a more cheaper sponge and it's very similar,so didn't really saw a difference.

The Real Techniques one is what I have and it's great. Look up vintageortacky on YouTube. She just did a comparison video on the RT one and the actual beauty blender. Even if you don't end up checking out the video, I recommend just trying the RT one first because it's $6 instead of $20 and if you like it that's a lot of money you could save!

Love it for applying concelear under eyes! I don't use it for my whole face foundation I'm too lazy haha and I love the finish my brush gives!

To me in my personal opinion is pretty much the same as MUA Jordan Liberty.
'this product is a waste of time and money - Just invest in a brush. '
Not only is it overpriced but Beautylish moderator and make up artist Jacqueline H also advised that you get the same effect with a regular cheap sponge.
Don't let anyone opinions discourage you, however. You can always return the product. It is about what you like and feel comfortable with ♥♥♥

I forgot to mention above, I don't really use mine to apply my foundation. I use mine damp after everything to take away anything that looks too powdery. I actually apply the foundation with a brush (expert face brush also from real techniques), the sponge is just sort of a finishing tool for me. But even just using it that way has done WONDERS for how my makeup looks after. It looks much smoother and way more blended and natural than it did before.

I personally love the beauty blender for a flawless look. You never have to worry about brush strokes or uneven placement of product. It really works well for me.

I personally LOVE my beauty blender. I use it on all my clients, and myself. However, I've been hearing that they aren't making them the same anymore & that the quality of the newer ones are not as great. I really hope this isn't true! I personally don't like using regular sponges, but apparently you can get the same effect by emerging a non-latex sponge in water just as you would a beauty blender. But it has to be non-latex, or the sponge won't expand!

I found suuuuper cheap ones on EBay? I ordered mine for about a dollar-something. I'll try it out and see if it's any good. But if it does and your worried about money, could be an option, right? xx
