Coastal Scents and BH Cosmetics are essentially the same thing. Now, the brushes are good, but they're just that, good. If you would like better brushes sigma is the next step up (for brushes I have) and their eyeshadow brush is my favorite even when compared to my MAC eyeshadow brush.

ELF Studio or (you're going to think I'm crazy) Rite Aid Renewal Brushes - read reviews on ELF brushes, but most of their Studio brushes are great quality especially for the $. I HIGHLY recommend Rite Aid's brand of brushes...I recently grabbed a few (face & eyes) and was not disappointed. They compare to brushes triple+ the price. No shedding during cleansing process either.

Borghese are the most amazing brushes. & they're extremely inexpensive. The down side is they only come out with sets during the holidays. I know they used to sell them at costco & for sure they're at kohls. I would keep an eye out when Christmas comes around. They're between $20-40 per set.

Yes, you're right. I seen that!! :) once I seen they had their approval I was like oh yes! lol. My mom bought me a set for Christmas when I started doing makeup in like 2008 maybe and they're still in perfect condition. I didn't realize how great they are until I tried to use other brushes (bare minerals & Eco tools) and nothing compares to me! Also I just can get myself to spend tons of money on brushes so I don't mind waiting for the holidays to buy them!!
