After dyeing hair

After I dye my hair, the next few days I end up with a dye residue on my neck. I use Vaseline and clean off the dye but when I wake up I have red all over my neck. Any ideas of what I could do?

Maybe ask your doctor. You may have an allergic reaction

I have the same problem from time to time. Lindsay is right. you just have to keep your hair off of your neck for at least a week after dying it. I also use a color sealing spray and that has helped a bit also.
