I love wearing eye makeup and my eyebrows, but I hate wearing foundation.
I have quite bad skin, it's red and blotchy and I always get spots and they look horrible.
Because of this I NEVER leave the house without wearing tonnes of concealer, foundation and powder. It feels so thick and unnatural- I hate it.
I take my makeup off as soon as I get home. I cleanse, tone and moisturise twice a day but my skin is still horrible! It's been like this for years, what can I do? All I want is to have skin nice enough so I can leave the house without all my makeup.

I'm not sure about the skin care part. but you should try cover fx foundation. it's good for your skin, and has great coverage and feels very light.: )

Can you list the skin care products that you are using?

I use garnier exfoliating face wipes, garnier micellar cleansing water, garnier essentials toner, garnier pure active facial wash and neutrogena oil free moisturiser. I use neutrogena spot stress control every night too

From your photo I would never have known you had skin complaints, your skin looks lovely :-) it sounds like you are doing all the right things as well as that it would just be the usual stuff of having healthy diet and drinking plenty water, a lot of time your skin will eventually sort itself, hope that helps :-)

I would say that maybe you're being too harsh on your skin. Exfoliate once or twice a week, use a toner every other day. Skin is very opposite. If you have oily skin, you don't want to wash your face all the time. Because then your skin will create more sebum (the natural oils). If you're dry, you want to apply a good amount of mositurizer.

Are their any ACTIVE ingredients in your cleanser & moisterizer?

Girl! you are exfoliating your face every day? and all that. Its not the foundation, it's your skin care products, try switching it up to more sensitive cleansers like the Cetaphil of CerVe cleansers.
And exfoliate every ONCE a week in your position.
And try to wash your face with these products one time a day, and just cleanse and moisturize in the morning.
Hope this helps love (:

I used to get lots of spots, but decided not to wear foundation and instead wear tinted moisturiser. it provides a good coverage, is way better for you skin than foundation and most are spf. its very light and natural but I would reccommed also getting a blemish stick with something like tea tree in it for any spots that show though the moisturiser.

Use a color correcting concealer/primer (green for redness) I find that this makes all the difference when covering acne.

Try going to a dermatologist, but for the foundation I think you should try Bare Minerals it feels really light on the skin and ha good coverage☺️
