I love her hair too... It's amazing... *sigh*

A way to do it would be to curl hair with a curling iron, but for a better result I would curl with a flat iron for more subtle waves.
I would use volumizing spray or product.
Then part the hair so you have a more dramatic side part.

Her hair is naturally curly, and it's just parted far to the side. :)
you could try using a half inch or smaller curling iron, or doing lots of small pin curls. Unfortunately it's very time consuming and damaging :/

If your hair is naturally wavy then put loads of mousse in when wet and scrunch dry with diffuser:) if not then a perm would be a good idea but your hair will have to be in really good condition otherwise it'll snap off.

Lordes hair actually isn't like that naturally. Her hair is wavy but they used a very small curling rod for the video. They used smaller sections to make it seem natural. (:

Why not just try rag curls and then in the morning pull then down with mouse after? No heat, or perms.

Maybe try crimping your hair and then use and extremely small curling iron to get the top a little more definition?

Put curl activating product in your hair, flip your hair over, diffuse it with a blow dyer, after get a curling wand and put the curls in it.
