Has anybody tried this?? I saw this on Makeupalley..

these are the Ingredients to make it :

5.5 oz rubbing alcohol, 26-28 uncoated aspirin, and 2.5 oz witch hazel. Mix it up in a spray or flip top bottle, let the aspirin dissolve, give it a good shake or 3. Voila!
also my Q would be if I use enteric coated asprin WOULD IT WORK THE SAME THATS THE ONLY ONE I HAVE AT HAND.

also does it really prevent and heal ingrown hairs as good as Tend Skin.. so far the reviews there are good.

I don't know abount trend skin but I do know rubbing alcohol is a no no for anykind of skin care. using it can cause skin cell damage if used even a short amount of time.witch hazel also contains a percentage of alchol as well. the asprin could be used as a anti-inflamitory just mix it w water. I know lots of people love diy skin care I however am not a fan. have you tried a using aha based or manual exfoliante? that could help a lot

I no tend skin works I got it for my husband to get rid off his razor bumps and it worked great but I don't no if a diy would work or not

This did catch my eye, but Danny has a good point. I do have some aha stuff I will use instead. I forgot I could use it for that!

I second Danny's opinion! Alcohol is a well-known skin irritant. It's great for killing bacteria in medical situations, but I sure as heck wouldn't recommend that anybody use it in liberal amounts on their face.

Tend skin is made with Alcohol in fact it's the first ingredient although it may irritate your skin on most occasions Tend skin works great on getting rid of razor bumps especially on men facial hair or back hairline ,its only intended for ingrowns you don't use it on your face like a toner so I'm not going to say this won't work cause it might.

This is not for my face its for my bikini area I wax every two weeks and get ingrown hairs.
