Coconut oil is lovely, melt some down (make sure it isn't too hot) and apply it to your hair. Wait for a while (however long you feel comfortable) and wash out in the shower. Your hair will be soft and silky.

The Percy and Reed wonder balm and Moroccan oil work wonders for making my hair feel soft and shiny!
Leave in conditioners and heat protection products are also advisable
