Daytime eye look? Opinions?

I don't normally do my makeup this way, but I like how it turned out. I was going for a simple smokey eye type of look, but in the picture it looks kind of flat. Any suggestions?

I used my e.l.f eyeshadow palette, liquid eyeliner, volumizing mascara and blush. Also a light powder foundation. Don't remember the brand though.

Well, I wouldn't call it a smokey eye, but it suits you very well. I love that brown eyeliner! or is it black eyeliner with brownish eyeshadow over it?

Thanks so much ladies! I really appreciate the feedback. Also, @hannah it's brown liquid eyeliner from e.l.f. It was hard to find brown liquid liner, but I really like e.l.f.'s. It's only a few bucks and out doesn't take me an hour to remove it.
