Why do my eyes look so small?! HELP.

Hi ladies!

I have been noticing my eyes look really small when I look I'm the mirror. I do not wear eyeshadow at all and I wear eyeliner when I have time to put it on. Is there anything I am doing wrong or something I should be doing? I started tightlining my eyes, but I don't notice any difference.

Is the eyeliner what makes the difference?

Is this a new thing? Or have they always looked small? And do you always use black or dark-colored eyeliner?

Yea it's new! And I haven't been doing anything different with my makeup. It's kinda like a hit or miss. Sometimes they're small, sometimes they aren't.

It depends on your waterline, usually. If you apply black to your waterline it makes your eyes look smaller.

I agree. Black liner on the water line can sometime make the eye appear small. Instead try applying a white on the water line. I find tht the winged liner also helps to make my eye appear biggee. Good luck.

I don't put eyeliner on my waterline. It always gets in my eyes (so annoying). I put it on my lash line. Isn't that tightlining when it's on the lash line and water lining when it's on the waterline?

I believe tightlining is lining the upper waterline :) whenever I do that I just say the "upper waterline" I don't know I just find it makes more sense. I mean tightlining makes sense but I mean... I don't know haha.
