Look up 100 uses for Vaseline on youtube. won't be disappointed. you can use the rose one or original to make lip and cheek products using crayons or old lipsticks, etc. the green can be used to make a soothing mask with honey and oatmeal if used in moderation. :)

It shouldn't go any of those places either. I know I'm going to catch hell for this but Vaseline is not good for you. It's petroleum jelly, aka byproduct of oil. It clogs pores, attracts bacteria, and while the oily feel makes it FEEL moisturizing, it's not. It's also keeps moisture from getting into anything. I've seen fighters with large gaping cuts have Vaseline put over it to stop the bleeding, nothing gets into it and nothing gets out. Please don't out it on your hair anywhere, or lips.

Vaseline aka petroleum is okay to use on the skin I've a moisturizer that actually moisturizes the skin like a glycerin based moisturizer. Petroleum isn't absorbed by the skin but can keep the keep the moisture on your skin. It can also be applied to damp skin to prevent the water from evaporating and it will keep your skin moisturized. It also works well in humid climates as the moisture on the skin can be sealed in by the petroleum :) so it's alright to use. Other things that do this are oils like Mineral Oil, Olive Oil, and many others. Their job in moisturizers is to keep the water from evaporating from the skin and keeping it moisturized

Is it the kind that you can scoop out with a spoon? If so, I have a way.

Hello everyone! I use castor oil for my lashes and eyebrows. Never user anything else, it's very bad for the roots of the hair. Vaseline is good for very dry skin areas or areas that can break out like heels in the summer.

I use it as a make up remover and moisturizer I tame my brows with a little bit of it and apply it to dry places on my skin it works well you just have to make sure your careful with it and make sure you don't leave any on your face.

Marilynn Monroe used to use it as well (so I heard) I understand it's a very touchy subject but everyone also has different skin and mine is a very sensitive dry and oily so that's why I use it. Just be careful.

DO NOT PUT VASELINE ON YOUR EYES! I had really bad, flakey, red, scaly and dry eyes and the got so and sometimes they would crack and bleed. I used Vaseline to try and "moisturize" my lids and soothe them, but Vaseline is one of the worst things you can put on your eyes. Eyelashes serve to protect against foreign objects getting in the eyes, and the Vaseline clogs your lashes and can have risks of Vaseline getting into your eye. They can cause permanent fat deposits in your eyes as well. * I'm not an expert, but I know this from my dermatologist, my doctor, my nurse, and my nurse practitioner.*

And, with Vaseline it just feels like it's moisturizing but it actually prevents any moisture from getting in which can just leave your skin more dry. You can put it on other parts if your body, but not near your eyes. You'd be better off using a lotion anyways. I really like this one.

I use vaseline while tinting eyelashes or eyebrows to protect the clients skin because nothing penitrates through vaseline its not wise to put it on the eyes as it blocks pores :)

Vaseline is very occlusive, so it blocks pores which can cause breakouts including your eyes (styes). But I think it should be ok on knees, elbows, feet & hands (& cuticles) to help your skin to retain its natural moisture & to eradicate ashiness that can accumalate on those areas. The skin on the aforemetioned areas is much thicker than I
on any other part of the body. At night is probably the best time to use it since its so greasy.

Not to mention that Vaseline won't evaporate like water-based lotions so will keep the ashiness away much longer.
