Last week I was at the beach, and somehow I got super burnt, and a spot on my cheek broke out into cold sores. It also happened about ten years ago also. I've been using a cream for cold sores, but it's not helping as much as it was. Is there anything I can do to help it go away faster?

Hi Annika this May sound weird but ice the area and apply daps of milk. Than add some Vaseline or tea tree and it should smear right up. Hope this helped you.

Toothpaste works really well for me. I just dab it on with a qtip before bed and it's usually looking better when I wake up!

Make sure it's tooth paste with fluoride in it because the fluoride is what kills the bacteria in the sore

Hi Katie,
I posted about my cold sore problems recently too!
I bought a tube of Herstat cold sore treatment from their site www.herstat.com a few weeks ago and it's been great so far.
It has propolis in it which I've read is meant to be really good for this kind of thing :)
