I'm sure it's been asked thousands of times before, but I'd like to know if any of you have any tips on hair strengthening and growing. My hair (and nails) have always grown super fast but it seems that they have sort of come to a halt as of late. Maybe I'm just being impatient or paying attention to it too much (a watched pot never boils, amirite?) but still, I'll take suggestions. :)

I've got super long hair. It took me a long time to grow it out until I stopped straightening and blow drying my hair everyday. I have started to let it air dry so my hair doesn't break. It also helped my hair strengthen.

Try mane and tail shampoo and conditioner! Makes my hair grow so long! And it's for both horses and people but horse shampoo makes your hair grow faster. I like to use Lee Staford hair growth treatment and take biotin for your nails and hair and skin you can find biotin tablets at target

Okay so definitely no heat, weekly coconut oil treatments, braid your hair when you sleep, try taking a biotin supplement, drink lots of water, get plenty of rest, don't stress(since its bad for your hair), wash your hair as little as possible, exercise, scalp massages everyday (to increase blood flow to the scalp and hair follicle), there really are tons and tons of tiny tips to help your hair! Focus on the overall health of your hair and it will grow!

I just bought some Biotin tablets, actually! Haha. I'm going to start taking them tomorrow. Thank you for the input! Definitely going to try all the tips.

Dont always wash your hair with shampoo, do that once in a while, and dry your hair with an old t-shirt b/c your hair is at its weakest when exposed to water.

Your hair goes through growing stages. It is probably just at the Telogen phase, which usually lasts 1-4 months. This is a resting stage which your hair simply sheds its self and no nutrients are supplied to the root. So as much product and babying you can do, it will not grow during this time. Just try to keep your hair as healthy as possible. What I find helps the most is no dying, and frying basically, To prevent breakage. And healthy in, healthy out! Just be patient :)
