Manic Panic Colors

I really want a deep red/purple color, I've seen it where people will mix the hot pink and a blue color and it achieves that color somewhat. I've also been told to use vampire red, but I'm unsure. I know for a fact the Burgundy color in a box did not work for me it faded way to quickly (within a week and a half)

Any suggestions or tips?

Did you try divine wine or deadly nightshade? They are both burgundy colors.

I have tons of tips. I've been using manic panic for 6 years haha.
To make it last longer, when you put it all over the head don't mix it with anything, put it on and leave it for a few hours at least. The longer you leave it on, the longer it'll stay. I generally do 3-6 hours but to get even better results you could put a shower cap on and sleep with it in. Wash with sulfate free shampoo, and try using cold water. Less of the color will rinse out. And my number one tip is avoid alcohol in products. Hairspray, styling products with alcohol all dry out and damage your hair anyways, but it's honestly the harshest on color. I used to love hairspray and would use it everyday, my color would fade in a week. Once I stopped using it my color lasts months now.
Oh and another thing, if the color does not work for you, it doesn't mean it won't work for someone else. My hair holds manic panic for 4+ months without fading sometimes, but on my sister it washes out within 3 washes. I see so many people on here saying manic panic doesn't last long, but it depends on the color and your hair.

Hey Alyx. what color is your natural hair? now that my hair is bleached I want to maintain the color myself and was thinking of using manic panic dyes.

My natural hair is dark dark brown, but I haven't had it natural since I was like 11 lol. Manic panic dyes are really good, but I prefer special effects. It lasts longer on me, and I can use 3/4 a bottle for my whole head where as manic panic I need almost 3 tubs. If you have any questions I'll be glad to answer :) from what I remember your hair is part teal now right? Atomic turquoise is a beautiful color from manic panic :)

Shops do sell them, but there's no one place for it. It's usually little independent shops, like in my city a local curio shoppe sells it. You can try googling it with your city and something might come up. But in my opinion ordering online isn't bad, and the dye is worth it, but if shipping is too much then just use whatever you can get your hands on (manic panic, punky colors, directions, etc)

Try eBay? There's tons of good sellers on there. Or the mp website I think you can order it.
