I think we fair girls get short-shrifted because our features simply disappear without at least a little makeup. Darker eyes and hair girls can get away with no makeup and still look like they have lashes, etc.

And thank you for your kind words, Shaye. For 45, I think I'm doing ok. P.S. I know some friends had asked me if those were colored contacts and they're not. Simply my true eye color in sunlight. (Hence the odd glare.)

You have lovely coloured eyes! I just noticed, they're very pretty and I agree for 45 you're looking extremely young! Lucky you! I hope I still look good at your age! And I agree, I really need mascara or to fill in my eyebrows to even see any of my facial features :( haha.
