When a client tells/asks you to contour with bronzer?
And do the "Instagram highlight/contour"?

I mean, I guess it really just depends, I think sometimes you can contour with different products, I use mac's 'blunt' blush powder to contour sometimes, it works great when I'm feeling lazy and don't wanna use the creams and blend. but I wouldn't contour with a shimmery ass bronzer lol.

You tell her you're the Mua and you do what you know is right. I mean after all she hired you to do her make up right? If she really knew what she was doing she wouldn't have hired you in the first place. It's all about empowerment. Be stubborn and let your client know that you KNOW what you're doing

I would suggest kindly explaining the difference between contouring with bronzer and contouring correctly. A logical person will understand and agree with you, if they still want shiny bronzer all over their face at that point then there isn't much point arguing with them sadly. Then it's up to you, you can refuse to do it, or accept to have them walking around with a instigram bronzer saying it's your work D:

Lol thank you girls. I was just curious. The people's I've done have never asked me to do it. I wouldn't do it either haha.

Usually when I mention anything about highlight/contouring to my clients they have no idea what it is.
