Wow great advice Jaclyn!
Also there are some ways to treat acne from the inside out. I drink green tea instead of coffee in the morning. In the after noon and at night I have a cup of Rooibos red tea. I believe tea really has helped my skin stay clear. Not only is it hydrating you but it has loads of antioxidants. Also every day I take a teaspoon of organic unsulphered blackstrap molasses which I started doing for my hair but noticed a difference in my skin and upon further research I found this is an acne curing method as well. Vitamin D also helps your skin. I try to get sunlight every day and I also take a vitamin D suppliment.
Also some people have had success with drinking lemon juice in hot water. However I tried this and my skin was the clearest it's ever been immediately but that was short lived and I started breaking out in cysts. Apparently I was "purging" but I hate purging so much I had to stop. I have always been on the fence about purging because its the products and methods that did NOT cause purging that gave me long lasting clear skin.
When it comes to products I just make sure to use washes and lotions that soothe my skin as oppose to treat acne. Because often times acne is from your skin being irritated. So just focus on soothing your skin and giving it love as oppose to anything aggressive. Although exfoliates are ok. I use one twice a week or else my makeup doesn't go on my skin as well

Oh I almost forgot. Google "oil pulling" I do this also for my skin. It has caused a little but of purging but I have faith. I can't explain it too well but there is plenty about it online.
