Where did you store it? Was it by a window? Maybe a light bulb?

I have a bottle of this foundation and have had it for months as well but this never happened to me. especially not the 'turning orange' part. My best guess is you either got a dud or it somehow got contaminated.

Mine did this too, but after about 5-6 months - it turned bright orange! I've never seen it happen to anyone else I always just assumed that I got a dud.

Really? Wow that's never happened before! That's strange...sephora is suppose to have good quality makeup! What foundation was it?

I'm thinking that it more than likely got contaminated with some type of product ingredient it doesn't agree with.

I really love the foundation and coverage. I have a few friends that are MUA by trade that use it on their clients for photoshoots.
It is odd that it spoiled so quickly. I agree that as it ages, the color does seem to change...leaving me wondering what the estimated " freshness" expectancy is. Since I use so little, I often have to pitch foundations as a result. It worked beautifully for 6 months and so I still feel it is well worth the money. Buildable coverage that never irritated my sensitive skin. I really love it..in spite of everything else.

So sorry it went orange on you so soon. :(

I hate when something is pricy and there is no option for a smaller bottle. Kills me to toss make up like that. :(

Ong thats drastic behaviour by that foundation! And 2 months isn't anywhere close to the expiry duration for a foundation. I know you wouldn't get a replacement but I would go to the store and talk to the manager about the problem, maybe other people faced it too.

I didn't mean ask for a refund, but sometimes there are faulty lots of products sold by a mistake. I bought a Chanel loose powder once and I used it on a daily basis fir about a week and it was great, then the next week it just broke me out insanely and the powder changed colour to a verrrrry pale yellow. Since I only wear this powder for makeup and sunscreen beneath it, I was pretty sure the powder broke me out. So I went to the store I got it from and talked to the manager, he took my powder and returned it to the company, it took about 2 months to hear from them but they admitted that the lot was not properly manufactured and apologised. The store also called up 5 other customers who bought this powder with the same lot number and atleast people were saved from an allergic reaction.

Then register an online complaint, specify the details and type that you are unhappy with their after sales service. I always register my grievance, that way they are atleast made aware of the problem, its wrong as a consumer to let them get away with it. Also, go to the MUFE website and say that something about their foundation wasn't right.

Great advice, ladies. I'm getting ready to repurchase, but am holding my receipt close and am going to keep an eye on the calendar.

I just hate how my local Sephora and beauty bar store behaves with teens too, its just not fair, customers should be considered equal irrespective of their age. Where I live, they don't have too many teenagers shopping from Sephora so they take advantage of that, I cringe at the eye shadow recommendations they give those girls! They should get a better policy about this seriously.

You should go to the store and question them and if they say it's a bad piece they will probably give you a new piece.
