Hey guys đź’‹ I was hoping someone could share some tips or experiences with interviewing and working for Mac. I really want to apply to work their the day I turn 18 and I want to be as prepared as possible. What is interviews like? Do you need a portfolio? What experience is required to work at Mac? I currently work for MAC.
MAC prefers that you have some kind of retail and make-up background. However the company really cares about if you can sell. Study all mac products, programs, and about mac cosmetics. The hiring process can take days or even months. Expect to have a phone interview, in person interview, and makeup demo interview. MUST wear all black head to toe including jewelry. MUST be wearing MAC cosmetic products (they will know and call you out on it) Hair and nails must be done. Clothing must be in current trend. Any more questions feel free to ask.
