Title pretty much says it all. I've been using specific colour shampoo & conditioner, but is there any other ways to prevent colour from fading?

At sallys you can get a protein filler for your hair, its really great at fighting fadeout. I have extremely porous hair, just from overproccessing, and it seals in the color by acting as a filler on your hair. When your hair is very porous, it accepts color great, but can't hold onto it at all. you can either mix it in with your color or put it on your hair directly before coloring.

I rinse with cool water and use Pravana shampoo. It is sulfate free.

Sulfate free shampoo, sulfates are not good for colored hair.

Only wash as needed and use cool water. Just make sure to watch your skin or you'll have another problem lol. Abbr use coveting to protect hair from heat and from you've.

Everything these other ladies said and washing your hair less often (which is good for your hair overall) and using a dry shampoo for color treated hair. :)
