Have you ever considered consulting an licensed Esty? I've seen even light peels work wonders.

Have good amount of vitamin c in your diet it would help you to clear out early...No doubt you can always use external products. But this is what my experience says.:-P.

I would definitely get a Vitamin C Serum. Not only will it help brighten and lighten discoloration, it will protect your skin from free radicals (pollution, sun etc). It will also help your sunscreen work better. But be careful buying Vit C, because its so unstable, which means it oxidizes very easily & will become ineffective. Make sure it comes in a dark bottle to keep out light & preferably with a pump to keep out air. Skinceuticals makes good ones but they don't have pumps & are very expensive. I just transferred mine into a bottle with a pump. There are many other companies that sell cheaper Vit C serums, you just have to do your research. You could also use a retinol cream, to help your accelerate skin turnover, Thats best used at night because it can make your skin sensitive to the sun. Neutrogena, Skinceuticals & Roc have good ones.. And most importantly, wear sunscreen everyday, even on gloomy days. Not only will it help prevent the sun from darkening your spots, it will help protect your skin from developing new ones. So Vit C serum in the am (you can put moisterizer over it if you like), then sunscreen (makeup over sunscreen), At night Retinol Cream & moisterizer if you like. Wait 30 after retinol application to apply moisterizer. Good luck!
