What's the best face wash for skin that gets really dry, and oily?!? Nothing works for me! I can't find anything that will give me pretty soft skin!

Definitely one of LUSH's facewashes. I think they have one specifically made for your type of skin!

Cetaphil, they sell it everywhere - walmarts and drugstores. It stopped all my breakouts, and my skin was less oily.

It sounds like you have combination skin - with dry and oily patches. The best way to handle it is to use a cleanser which doesn't strip too much moisture from your skin - a light gel-type. If you don't over-dry your skin, the oily parts won't get so oily. Also make sure you follow it up with a good toner and a moisturizer (very important) to keep your oil levels balanced all day.
I actually wrote a post with the best face washes/cleansers, and there is a bit about combination skin in there so you should check it out! http://finnerbeauty.com/2012/11/29/creating-your-skincare-regime-cleansing/

A good rule to follow if you have issues with dryness is to stay away from foaming cleansers because they tend to be very drying. I have what I call extreme combination skin because I can be flaky one day and practically dripping oil the next! I have gone through countless cleansers-everything from drugstore brands to $60 cleanser and my saving grace is Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleanser...omg it is fabulous! Mario Badescu is a great skincare line as a whole AND....it's CHEAP! Ulta just recently started carrying the line and Nordstrom carries it as well. If you're not used to non-foaming cleanser, it is unusual, but it certainly gets the job done!
