Acne bump turning really red! 😱

I have a zit on my face, and I popped it 2 days ago (yikes!) and I think it got worse. It keeps Turning red all around the acne spot, and the redness keeps traveling to my plain skin around it. Th pores on my face in that area are huge, and I just want help knowing what's happening and how to make it stop?

Well because you popped the pimple the skin around it is going to be irritated. be sure to clean the area well with whatever facial cleanser you use to make sure that it doesn't inflame or become a zit again. to calm the redness you can always use ice! take a few ice cubes in a plastic bag or however in a paper towel and gently rub it on your face or in the affected area. the coldness should help calm any swelling or redness. honey is also good but PLEASE perform a patch test on your arm and make sure you're not allergic.

By popping it, not only did you break the skin which can lead to discoloration even afer the pimple has healed, you spread the infection to the outlying skin around it. You should never pop a pimple by squeezing it.

Ice it and take some Advil AS DIRECTED (no more) to reduce the pain, swelling and inflammation.
