Try a few deep conditioning masks? I think that'll help with the lack of moisture in your hair. (: xx

Which heat protectant did you use? Maybe it's just a bad brand. Also, did you wait a minute for the heat protectant to dry on your hair before you used heat? Curlers/straighteners should never be used on damp hair (even if it's practically dry). Aussie 3 minute miracle is a life saver for dry hair. For extremely dry hair, I like to add coconut oil to aussie 3 minute miracle to make it even more amazing. Hope I helped!

That's really strange! Chi is a great brand so I can't imagine how your hair dried out after using heat once! :O But definitely try the treatment I mentioned earlier :)

That's most likey the problem! I would turn the wand down wayyy lower and use it on the lowest possible setting that still works for you.

Really CHI did that? I use that CHI iron guard everyday before taking the straightener to it and it works wonders on my hair I don't know why it did that to your hair...very odd :/

Yup!! It could've been cuz I have very thin hair n maybe the heat setting was high!

It could also be the way your hair dresser cut your hair. I've gotten split ends before because I decided to trust some *questionable* hair stylists who didn't really know how to cut hair (the blade of the scissors needs to be held at a certain angle and not straight across. Cutting straight across can weaken the hair shaft. At least this is my understanding of it!) It could be because of that, or maybe the change in weather has effected your hair! :) Its always a really good idea to turn your hot tools down though :) I hope this helps!

Make sure you use heat protected spray before curling :)

You need to do a deep condition every week! I recommend: AUSSIE conditioner for heat treated hair or LUSH have some very good ones! Wash your hair normally with shampoo then apply loads of conditioner wrap your hair up in a towel leave for 5-10 minutes rinse out and if you feel the hair could do with a bit more apply some more conditioner and just wash it out. Don't blow dry your hair let it naturally dry!
