@kiki its a piercing that goes trough the middle of the upper lip.
I say go for it, medusa looks good on most people :

I'm just worried about my career. I want to be a graphic designer but if that doesn't work I wouldnt be able to be an art teacher with the medusa.

My bff has that one she's very edgy I do think it'll suit you, you have a vert symmetrical face. :)
