I would choose a clear light shimmery one. Mint green on toes can look bad sometimes and can look like your toe nails are infected. Try swatching first to see if it'll give you that effect or not.

What colours are your opened toes shoes? Either go for a base colour which is slightly darker or lighter than the colour of your shoes or go for the complete opposite of a base colour ie if your shoes are pink go for blue! Then for a design just have a play around: rhinestones are brill but make sure you stick them with nail glue :)
