Ever had any really just plain horrible experiences with any makeup products? If so, what product and brand was it?

When I first started using foundation, I tried covergirl's & it was an absolute disaster. It turned my face orange & turned even BRIGHTER orange when it oxidized. Then I packed on their powder & made my poor face cakey... & ugh, it was just bad.
I also had a bad experience with Revlon Colorstay but it wasn't necessarily their fault. The foundation ended up becoming to light for my skin during the summer & for some reason ended up making my break outs look purple/grey. It was terrible & even my bf at the time told me about it. I didn't even own a concealer at the time so I had to choose between a really red blemished face, or a pale face with purple pimples. I REALLY don't miss my teen years. hahah
