No matter how much I try but everytime I wear eyeliner I don't look good. I feel it Changes the way I look, and then I remove it everytime. so is it just me or did you girls also feel this way when you started to wear it. P.s I apply it on the upper lid.. and I feel I look a lot more better without wearing any eyeliner...

I used to feel this way I think it was because I wasn't used to it but I kept getting compliments every time I wore it. I decided to wear eyeliner everyday now and when I don't I feel like I look weird without it lol I guess you just have to get used to it! 😊

I agree with Clarissa- a lot of dramatic makeup you just have to get used to. Its not that it looks bad necessarily but that you aren't used to seeing your face look like that. Give it a few chances... make sure to take photos of it too because it could also just be a dysmorphia of some sort and you see yourself in the mirror completely different from how you actually look.

Try just applying it on the outside corner of your eyes - or only on the top lid - I find that makes it look more natural and less dramatic on the eyes also a dark brown instead of black makes a big difference too.

Juhi you can try a brown eyeliner, sometimes black eyeliner can look really harsh, especially if your not use to wearing it! I love love love eyeliner and I wear it often, I don't think it changes the way I look, it just enhances my eyes :)

I feel the opposite LOL. I barely leave the house without it and hate how I look when I don't have it on. I think it can make your eyes look smaller when it's on the lower lash line so I keep it on just the upper lash line unless I'm going out. I also agree that dark brown can look a lot better than black.

When I startd wearn eye liner it would make me feel like tht cause I couldnt get right. I'm member spendn like an hour on a wing and I couldnt get it right and in the end it just took everything off. Just keep practicing, you know @d house. Even if your not going anywhere keep practice it. with time itll get better but get practice.

May be start with just a tiny line along your lashes... kind of tight lining it...once you are used to it, you can start going bolder...:)
Another weird suggestion from me - wear it when you are going alone somehwere...sometimes frn n family will start noticing that you have done something new/different and will start to jokingly tease you...that might create some inhibition...it did for me...so now whenever I try something new, I try to get comfortable with it by wearing it when I am going out all by myself...Once I am comfy, I will start sporting the same in front of my frns...weird but worked for me... :) :)

It depends on how you apply it. But it's obviously an addition to your natural face so of course you'll look different lol and eyeliner by no means is a necessity, if you don't like it don't wear it. That's how I am with foundation.

I felt that way when I didn't know how to apply it correctly (uneven lines) I thought I looked a mess and I did. Now I don't leave the house without it, I usually don't do a wing, just liner on my top lid, or all the way around. I get a lot of compliments, people ask me if I'm wearing false lashes until they realize it my liner. And without it, I get asked if I'm sick lol.
