For contoring, I use too faced chocolate soliel bronzer in my invisible cheek bone line. if that's too pricey a lot of people are raving about NYC bronzer. I havent used it yet but I have heard great things.

What do you want to contour? You look like you already have beautifully high cheekbones. Most people contour their face because they want to slim their face, but you don't look like you need that. Contouring is also done to create that perfect oval face. You could do that by contouring around your temples & hairline on your forehead.

I tried a sample of estee lauder double wear camouflage and its full coverage and it's amazing. I just order it and there is a free gift with purchase at macys right now. I just make a post about it. But it provides really full coverage without looking or feeling heavy.

Well skincare is definitely a priority over makeup. you need a healthy canvas to paint. the kind of products you should use depends on your skin time, but in general a cleanser (cetaphil and cerave are great for acne and recommended by dermatologists), a toner to even out your skintone, and a moisturizer. I would go to a beauty counter in a department store or sephora and find an employee. they work on commission and are dying for you to go up and ask questions. they can help recommend products that will help clear up your skin. as far as makeup goes, a full coverage foundation can be put on first (I love marc jacobs mouse) followed by a concealer. when you have a breakout, I would recommend putting some green concealer on the spots and then covering it with some cream concealer (a waxy texture works best because itll stay on the pimple where as others tend to slide off) finally set it with a finishing powder (laura mercier makes a great one)

so all in all, it would be good to invest in these things:
-green concealer
-skintone concealer
-full coverage foundation
-translucent powder
-powder brush
-concealer brush
-brush (sigmas flat kabuki is great) or a sponge (beautyblender) to apply your foundation
-a good cleanser
-toner
-moisturizer

contouring is a little more complicated to explain, and I'd recommend both talking to girls that work in sephora and investing in some books so that you can have a visual guide while you learn to apply your bronzer, contour powder, highlighter, etc... Makeup Manual by Bobbi Brown and Beauty by Lauren Conrad are fantastic resources, especially for beginners!

Is your skin type oily or dry?? I've suffered from acne since junior high I'm already going to be 20 and my face finally cleared , I just learned how to better take care of it , I wasn't doing my skin care routine rite , I face combination skin I use African Black soap & tea tree soap , rose toner , neautrogena gentle moisturizer. Those two soaps have cleared up my skin more than my expensive creams! Have you tried either? There made for acne and other skin conditions.
