The weather in NC is still freezing and I'm getting super tired of my super pasty skin. I want to try self tanning.
What are some good self tanners? Preferably one I can pick up at the drugstore/Target since I'll start natural tanning soon. (This is just my quick fix!)

Can I say one thing and please don't hate me. Pale skin isn't a bad thing. This whole fake tan thing is really odd to me. I mean if you get a tan from being in the sun, cool. But pale skin is just as beautiful as tanned skin. You're a beautiful girl, your skin is beautiful.

As far as ONLY drug store I like L'oreal sublime mousse applied with mitt or for a gradual I like hempz gradual which was actually pretty moisturizing where as the sublime I need regular lotion too.

Oh no I could never hate someone for having an opinion! And thank you for the compliment! You are very beautiful as well.
I'm honestly not even really "pale" (I'm an NC37 😂) I just love the way I look with a deep brown tan. It makes me look healthier and my body look "better" in my opinion. I like to wear less makeup in the summer and a tan just evens everything out to me. But I do love rocking my lighter skin in the fall and winter with dark and vampy makeup. 😊

Ima agree with Nala. I've tryed Million dollar tan, St tropz, all drugstore stuff and they left me organe still. I've just learn to embrace my paleness:)

Nala I'm not trying to argue with you what so ever this is just my personal opinion so you might understand. I am natually really pale. I don't think pale skin is unattractive what so ever I actually think it is beautiful but I also love to fake tan because I personally feel more confident tan and I stopped tanning in a tanning bed because it got expensive and health risks and stuff. it's not like one is better than the other but for me its not like I think it looks bad when I'm pale but when I get out of the shower and apply a fresh fake tan I just love the feeling. Like I walk around my house in a robe all tan feeling like I just had a spa day haha. BUT to all the pale girls who rock it, YOU GO GIRL!

I fake tan all year round but not very much lol Antonia your natural is darker than me when I fake tan in the winter haha I'm a nc20 WITH my tan. In the summer I do go a bit darker though.

Haha I like to be super dark. Last summer I got to an NC45 with a natural suntan. It was such an accomplishment. 😂 What high end tanner do you use? And do you have any tips for self tanning? I'm a know it all when it comes to natural tanning in the sun but not so much when it comes to self tanner 😂

Exfoliate before you apply!!

I use st tropez mousse most of the time because its my favorite one from ulta so I get a discount but if you want to be really tan grab the dark tan one in the black bottle. I Also really liked million dollar tan and fake bake. fakebake is the cheapest of the three but still green based so you won't turn orange. fake bake has tons of different types and I haven't tried them all but so far I've like the ones I've tried.
Definitely exfoliate to get all the dead skin off that helps with an even application and longer lasting. I alsp moisturize everywhere before. I like using a mitt because it makes it hard to mess up haha. I also think your hands are super easy to spot if you fake tan so to get the most even possible application I put the fake tan on while my hands in this ugly claw shape (like your holding an apple) so it gets in your knuckle creases and stuff and then after I'm done doing both hands I put a little bit of regular lotion on rub it just on my hands. The key to a long lasting tan is to keep moisturized so try to at least once a day.
