Are there any good brushes for kind of playing around/trying stuff out that you guys know of? I have brushes that I use everyday for myself, but they were kind of expensive so I wouldn't want to mess them up or something. So relatively non expensive brushes would be great (: ❤️😘

Then use those. That's why they're meant to be expensive cos they're well made. The bristles and applications are way more better than any cheap brushes. Just play with it. Sigma and Real Techniques are my cheapest ones. But the applications are not as good as my high end brushes.

If I'm using special glues and glitters etc.for make up I just use those disposable eyeshadow paddles, and pack it on, then I just blend it out with like those synthetic $1 brushes from a cosmetic store. :) hope this helps a little.

If you don't want to use your expensive brushes, elf has really cheap ones but they aren't amazing, and real techniques has ones that are pretty good prices and I personally love.

I'd go for Elf, but I mean if you're just using regular makeup you can probably use the ones you have now. If they're well made, expensive brushes they should be able to withstand decent usage. Real Techniques is my favorite brand personally but if you really are just looking for bare minimum then Elf woukd be the way to go I think. Sonia Kashuk at Target also has brushes. They're not too expensive but they aren't super cheap either. Not sure how thw quality is personally but I hear good things about the brand overall so they may be worth a look.

Real Techniques brushes are pretty good too!! You can find them at Ulta on sale a lot when they have their buy one get one 1/2 off Real Techniques brushes.
