Can someone help me get this right?!! So I know there's liquid powder and cream foundations. And I've even seen some that say "mouse". Well anywho, just wondering if each one has a right or wrong brush to use for application. And can someone explain what "stippling" means. Lol I hear a lot wen describing application methods. Please and thanks :)

foundation types vary, the right foundation will really come down to what finished look you are trying to achieve and coverage you desire. a stippling brush is generally to stipple on makeup. mimicking effect of airbrushing, because as you "pat" or "press" makeup on with the brush all the bristles dot on a little makeup rather than streaking or wiping makeup on. usually it is used for liquid foundation or other liquid or cream makeup. i know some people "swirl" when applying makeup with these brushes, but they are really designed for stippling.
the definition of stippling is to dot, fleck, or make many small touches, usually in painting or engraving.

I'm pretty sure stippling means just dotting your face with the brush, like dabbing at it. Lol, I'm sure there's a more correct term and I could be wrong but that's what I've been told it is.

As far as stippling you use a bouncing type of motion to achive this, but you do this to the area you want more coverage in, jackie has mentioned that its not good to use to apply foundation cuz it leaves streaky marks and this is true when I used to use this I would always have to go back with a beauty blender and blur out the lines, if you want to know whitch brush is good for each foundation I would ask jaqueline 😊
