Has anyone tried the smash box primer? I wanna try it & is it okay for oily skin?

I use the smashbox photo finish original and love it. You might want to try the photo finish light first since it's for oily skin.

The photo finish light is amazing! No breakout and I have been using it since 2 weeks, my skin is crazy acne prone and oily so thats almost a small miracle lol.

The 1st one is the original and has silicone base to it which might not work good if you have really oily skin since silicone can make your skin oilier. (It could work, you can try it and see if it doesn't cause your foundation to slide. I've read some oily skinned girls like it.) The second is for sensitive ance prone skin types and has salicylic acid in it, it also has silicone in it but I'm not sure how much and I've never used it. (It could work also if you don't have really oily skin.) The light has a whitish color to it and it's water based, and good for oily skin. Looks like this.

I want to try it as well! On April 5th they are going to have the $36.00 bottle on sale for $18.00 at ULTA. But I'm pretty sure I seen somebody recently post that she just bought it & it was straight up oil... Or something like that. Pretty sure it was Maria. You could try asking her. :)

#2 is great too, although I was talking about the one which Lynzie posted.

I've used it before and it works great. But for me, it's not a great price. I use monistat chafing gel as a dupe and it works pretty much the same. They both have the same active ingredients, and the gel is only about 6$. I've been using it the past couple years as my everyday primer.

@Erica J, a few other people suggested the chaffing gel too but I am afraid it might clog pores. what is your skin type?

I like Hourglass Veil Mineral primer a lot more. I had a sample of the blemish control one and it didn't really do anything at all. It didn't help my makeup last longer and it didn't really control blemishes at all.
