Well I have a drugstore bronzer but it has golf flakes in it so I use it as a highlighter instead.
You could just buy a darker face powder and use it as like a contour :)

I use Bobbi Brown's matte bronzer in deep. I apply along my cheekbones and touch just along my temple and forward along my hair line. A slight dusting over the bridge of my nose and then I hit just below my jawline. You want to use a light hand and a decent brush to blend and diffuse any harsh lines. I'm an nc45 and I use bronzer year round to bring dimension to my face. To highlight I use Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzer in bali brown. Or NARS albatross and my most recent illuminator...Becca Pressed Illuminator in topez. Hope I was of some help.
